Today was our last Sunday for two services.  Next week we are moving to one service at 10A.  We went to two services to gain capacity and provide more seating as we were uncomfortably crowded.  Well, we may be uncomfortable again… but we are going to do our best to put enough seats in the Sanctuary to pack everyone into one service.

Our volunteer force has been stretched doing the two services, and that is the main reason why we are moving back to one service.  I feel like we are asking too much of our volunteers to keep doing two services over the long haul.  We have some an awesome army of volunteers, but the troops are happy to be moving to one service.  If we run out of seating down the road, we will do an overflow with a video feed of the service.

Things on my mind…

Friday Morning Fuel for Men is going great.  Nothing fires me up more then getting to spend a morning with some of the younger men of Sanctuary.  We have some great great guys and I am loving the fact that I have a regular time to invest in them.  The meetings are OPEN and any guys that want to check it out, PLEASE COME!!!  See you Friday @ 6:30A at Bob’s Big Boy in Calimesa.

KidsChurch ROCKS.  My wife Kirstin has such a fantastic group of Sunday school help… around 40 strong.  Kirstin has been knocking herself out to make KidsChurch the best hour of their week.  They did a big training session a couple weeks ago at our house.  I am amazed at how much work goes into Kidschurch.

One of my FAVORITE worship leaders Richie Sanchez will be with us in TWO weeks!  Mark your calendar for Nov. 9′th and BRING A FRIEND.  RIchie has an amazing touch of God upon his life and you will be inspired to worship.  I love this guy and I am very excited to welcome him to Sanctuary.

We are already in the process of planning our Christmas services to welcome our community.

This was a full weekend for our family... On Friday, Forrest had a cross country race in San Dimas, Garrett had a soccer game in Woodland Hills (Sat.) and San Bernardino (Sun.), and Forrest had games in Riverside (Sat. – I missed this game) and Redlands (Sun).  Forrest also had a homecoming football game at Arrowhead Christian Academy… so I am one tired hombre.

G’nite!
